Teaching English with Math

Numbers, Addition, plus...

I always try to create a fun learning atmosphere in the classroom where my students can feel happy while learning English. They love fun and creative activities but some activities like math doing puzzles, sums, and counting are just to exercise students’ brains. For this purpose, I created math activities and worksheets for the 1-3 grades.  One of them is the “Penguin addition task”.  Students should do this task in groups, pairs or individually. I prefer to suggest my learners work in pairs. Cut the penguin figures, put them on the backside and ask students to choose them.

Next activity and worksheets designed to write missing numbers: from 10-100.

“Number wheeler” the game engages learners to be fast and smart. Cut and craft number wheeler to set up the game for individual players. Read instruction in the printable worksheets.
